Twice a year, the Las Vegas Market brings together the best in furniture and design, showcasing upcoming trends and fresh ideas that inspire designers and home enthusiasts alike. It’s a must-visit event for staying ahead of the curve in the design world, and this year’s market did not disappoint! I kicked off my three-day experience at the ASID-sponsored Design Trends panel, and from there, it was a whirlwind of bold colors, playful designs, and exciting new product lines.
Trend Watch: Color is Back and Bolder than Ever!
If there was one undeniable theme at this market, it was color—vibrant, saturated hues were everywhere, making it clear that neutrals are taking a backseat. The Loloi x Rifle Paper Co. rug collection was a standout, filled with playful patterns and bold color palettes that can easily transform a space.
I also loved the bold, colorful artwork on display, with LeftBank Art really stealing the show. As a local vendor, I’m always excited to see what they bring, and this time they wowed with oversized prints and mural applications. LeftBank now offers their artwork as wall-sized murals in unique finishes like grasscloth, metallic, pearlized, and glossy—perfect for creating a statement wall that feels truly custom.
Playful Shapes & Natural Elements
Tamara Day’s collection with Stylecraft caught my eye with its fun, playful shapes and whimsical vibe. I love when furniture feels approachable yet fresh, and her line delivered exactly that.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, natural materials took center stage in many showrooms. From cut quartz tables to stone picture frames, natural stone added a grounded, organic feel to the designs. Seeing these materials used in new ways was inspiring—there’s just something timeless yet fresh about incorporating stone into furniture and accessories.
Curved Furniture: Here to Stay
Curved furniture has been trending for a while, but this market really solidified that it’s not going anywhere anytime soon. Every major upholstery line I visited had curved pieces, but Caracole’s showroom stood out the most. Their furniture was displayed against striking, saturated walls, paired with bold stone and metallic accent tables for a look that felt both modern and luxurious.
Texture Takes a Bold Turn
Texture continues to be a major player in design, but this market introduced new and exciting ways to interpret it. One standout was a textured art piece from Palacek Furniture—a beautiful example of how texture can bring depth and interest to a space.
Fun, Playful Accessories & Creative Displays
Accessories were full of personality, with handcrafted details that added a curated touch. Sagebrook Home’s handmade collection from Portugal, available in multiple colorways, was a highlight. I loved seeing bold art glass pieces—each one a statement on its own.
Another fun discovery was Wexel Art’s magnetic art hangers for record collections. Not only are they a unique way to display album artwork, but they’re also functional—simply pull your favorite record off the wall, play it, and put it back on display. Functional art at its best!
Overall, this year’s Las Vegas Market leaned into personality, bold touches, and curated looks. There truly was something for everyone, and the overarching message seemed to be about creating a space that feels authentic and personal—which, of course, is exactly what I love to do for my clients!
